Welcome to Hollywood Fashion Vault!
My mission on Hollywood Fashion Vault is to study classic films for you, capturing practical, affordable style tips from these films and bringing them you. Mostly, my concentration on this blog will single outfits, but periodically I will consolidate some of the things I learn along the way for you in an article post.
You're probably wondering what qualifies me to write about these things. First off, I am learning along with all of you. I have made my fair share of fashion blunders and had many really boring style moments in my life. This blog helps me to freshen my look and try new things. I hope it inspires you to do the same.
Also, I have been a fan of old movies since I was a toddler. Then, as an awkward teen, I studied Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor (among many others) to learn how to dress stylishly and present myself in an elegant way. In college, I wrote my thesis project on World War II movie musicals and I am a certified super-nerd on that topic. I have a degree in American Studies and soon I will be pursuing a PhD in English. Also, you'll find when reading my articles that I like to save money and I am an avid couponer. I believe that style is accessible to all who are resourceful.
I would love to hear from you, learn your style story and get a sense of what you want to see on Hollywood Fashion Vault. I am always open to recommendations of great classic or style films. It would make my day to get email from a reader.
